my son absolutely loves loves loves ms. eileen. just the other day, i asked him what was his favorite thing in the world. he said “playing soccer” and i asked him what else he really loved and he said “ms. eileen.” then he thought for a second and said “no mommie, i like ms. eileen better than soccer!!” This coming from a 7 year old!!
He has a long day at Gulliver Academy, but the best part of his week – after a long day at school – is Thursdays from 4:30 till 5:30 when he shares time with “his most favorite thing in the world…ms. eileen!!”
my son does not need tutoring. He is a gifted child. We go to ms. eileen to make sure that he is practicing and refreshing his memory and we also go because my son just loves hanging out and learning with miss eileen. She has instilled in him a love for learning and achieving. She teaches skills that go beyond books…her methodology shows children how to comprehend math and english and reading. She is just amazing. Worth every dollar spent. And the best thing is: my son would agree!!
In our family we call Eileen Kross “Eileen the magic wand.” Eileen has a special talent and a gift with kids. She is always passionate about her work and does it with great love and joy. She definitely brings the best out of each kid and makes them work to their best potential. Eileen has done wonders for my five year old son and we feel blessed to have her in our lives.

Eileen Kross (Ms. K to her students) is an innovative, experienced teacher who specializes in her students needs. She has a nurturing but disciplined system that makes the kids feel welcome while being able to pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses and adjust her teaching style to help them achieve their academic goals. Ms. K came highly recommended to us and she did not disappoint. My son Dylan had been struggling for years in math and Ms. K methodically worked with him to teach him all the concepts he did not fully understand but they had moved past in his class and she taught them to him until he had them mastered. In addition, she teaches the children learning skills, memorization tricks, and tips that they can use. She is extremely caring, kind, and every single student matters to her – she lets them know. I would highly recommend Ms. K. and we will continue to go to her for every subject matter – Math, English, Social Studies – as her methods work and my son feels better about himself and his abilities.
Eileen is exceptional and one of the best educators I have ever come across in my children’s lives. She is truly a gift to any child who is fortunate to work with her!

Ms. k, as my kids call Eileen Kross, is an exceptional educator. She is prepared, resourceful and fun. My children have always looked forward to their tutoring with Ms. K, because she connects with them and they grow close as a team.
Ms. k is very prepared. She is well versed in early childhood education and is continuously working on her own professional growth. She knows what the child should know and is relentless in her pursuit of accomplishing that goal!
Ms. k has an enviable bag of tricks! She can teach a concept in a myriad of ways and will not give up until the student has a grasp! My children will often recall “ms. k” moments where the unexpected was used to teach a lesson.

She recognizes the process and not the end results. She repeatedly teaches my children that very important lesson.
